The Research–Industry Linkage and Technology Transfer Forum was conceived as a strategic initiative to bridge the persistent gap between academic research institutions and the industrial sector in Nigeria. Recognizing that many innovations and research outputs remain underutilized due to weak commercialization pathways, this project provided a structured platform to connect researchers, innovators, and private-sector stakeholders. The forum emphasized knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and the establishment of partnerships to accelerate the translation of research outcomes into commercially viable products and services.
Objectives:
To promote collaboration between research institutions and industries for commercialization of research outputs.
To facilitate technology transfer and innovation adoption in key industrial sectors.
To foster an environment conducive to public–private partnerships for sustainable industrial growth.
