This national capacity-building and advocacy initiative targeted shea processors, cooperatives, and exporters to promote local value addition in line with the Federal Government’s temporary ban on raw shea nut exports. The project aimed to strengthen local processing capacity, enhance product quality, and improve export readiness of processed shea products.

Location: Niger, Kwara, Oyo, and Kebbi States
Status: 100% completed — five regional workshops successfully conducted; over 350 processors trained; measurable improvements observed in processed shea butter exports.
