DEVELOPMENT OF ADHESIVE

The Council, in collaboration with its stakeholder i.e research Institute and an Envelop manufacturing Industry has developed suitable adhesive with right specifications to address the challenge of non-adherence to the surface of substrate such as low viscosity, tack and wettability of envelop as identified by the industry. The adhesives produced have undergone industrial testing and results obtained compared favourably with the imported ones.  The areas of application of adhesives include chemical, pharmaceutical, wood, pulp and paper industries.  The product has been patented. Commercialization vide pilot plant for its production has begun.
