Project Overview
The Africa Raw Materials Summit 2025 convened a diverse network of policymakers, industry stakeholders, researchers, investors, and innovators across the continent to deliberate on strategies for advancing Africa’s raw materials sector through research, innovation, and sustainable industrialization.
As a key participant, the Research and Demonstration Plant Complex (RDPC) of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) featured prominently at the exhibition pavilion, showcasing a range of indigenous innovations, model-scale processing technologies, and value-added raw material products.
The exhibition highlighted RMRDC’s leadership in driving technological self-reliance, promoting value addition, and fostering industrial development through applied research and pilot-scale demonstration of raw materials processing. RDPC’s participation enhanced stakeholder awareness of Nigeria’s capacity for innovation-driven industrial growth and strengthened collaborations with local and international partners within the raw materials ecosystem.
This initiative directly aligns with the Council’s mandate to promote the development and utilization of Nigeria’s industrial raw materials and to serve as a hub for technological innovation and capacity building.
